About the Opportunity
White Water Management is currently looking to employ multiple Labourers to join our Water Transport Technician team on a full-time, casual basis. Our projects are primarily based in Chilliwack, Grande Prairie, Fort St. John, Red Deer, Fort McMurray, Prince George, and other cities throughout Northern Alberta and BC.
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, your responsibilities and duties will include:
- Rigging in hose lines for water transfer
- Operating equipment (loader, skidsteer)
- Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting water pumps
- Tracking water flows and water pressure
- Building and tearing down frac ponds
- Testing, repairing and maintaining hoses
- Changing out equipment as needed
- Communicating regularly with site supervisors and team members
- Completing other related duties as assigned
More About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need a valid Class 5 Drivers' License, with a minimum of 3 years of off-highway driving experience with a pick-up truck, hauling a trailer or other comparable vehicle. In addition, you will need to have completed H2S Alive and First Aid training. Previous experience in the oilfield or water management industries will be considered an asset, but are not required.
As our ideal candidate, you are safety oriented and customer focused. You have a mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Candidates who are reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn are strongly encouraged to apply.
This opportunity is Veteran friendly, and we also welcome seasonal workers from the Agricultural background during off-season.
